Last visit before launch
It’s all getting very close now. There is still a lot of finishing and cleaning going on so not quite the show boat I was expecting to see, but it is clearly going to be ready on time.
Meanwhile, we spent the day going through everything from how to flush the loo right through to all the mechanics, maintenance and electrics – it was certainly a lot to take in but it seems like fun, until of course I neglect a key piece of management or maintenance.
There seems to be a problem with the generator but David seems confident the issue can be resolved by the manufacturer on Wednesday morning, bearing in mind it is being loaded onto the lorry that afternoon. Cutting it fine springs to mind.
One slight problem (for me) was highlighted – I had provided Bluewater with two propane gas cylinders but it turned out they were the wrong ones. Funny that nobody spotted that earlier, but luckily Nicki was despatched to take them off to a local garden center who were kind enough to exchange them for us, so problem sorted.
