We had arranged for Brendan and and Chris to come down for the day, and were really looking forward to seeing them again. Once they had arrived and we’d caught up with lots of their and our news, we headed up river. On reaching Temple Island we started off with a bit of a photo shoot …. no, not the girls, the boat!
After that, we continued with a cruise down to Bourne End for a pub lunch in The Bounty where we were extremely lucky to moor up directly outside. We had a really pleasant lunch sitting outside eating and drinking in good company, thanks Brendan and Chris and of course, little Meg, finally turning the boat round and cruising back into the setting sun via Marlow. Lovely.
