Sightseeing in Brugge

We decided to leave Milly and Casper on the barge whilst we had a last day exploring Brugge for a while as it would make it easier and some buildings more accessible for us, one of which was the Belfry tower, with its super long climb up 366 steps to the top for some magnificent views. The bells are pre-programmed but can also be operated from a keyboard.  Then there were the constructions on the canal (which were very ‘interesting’) the Grote Markt, the Beguinage, the town hall, to name but a few.

We also took the opportunity to visit a Cat Cafe, which Nicki loved.  (They are all up for adoption so it was a bit of a struggle to not end up with another travelling companion.)
