After a good night’s sleep we were up in plenty of time to start our journey at Sluis 1 of this 21 lock canal, only

Prior to leaving this lovely stretch of water, over the weekend Nicki and I walked along the canal to the next lock, and were interested

7th June – Sunday morning saw us leave Gavere, heading towards Oudenaarde., and a short 3 hour journey later we were mooring near the centre

2nd June – Probably the last sunny day for a while as we set off along the river Leie towards Gent – a very pretty
