Read Time:46 Second

Leaving the island of De Schelp, with Bob doing most of the steering, Jane joining in briefly, Andy took over for the final approach into Spakenburg marina, finding a good but exposed mooring near the entrance from the Ijsselmeer.

Bob was first to head off to check out the marina and town, an interesting place, full of historic ships and pretty little waterside houses, so he was able to spend a few happy hours admiring the many, many old boats tied up there.

Just a few of the many, many older ships

Jane, Nicki and I sorted ourselves out and strikes into the town where it was nice to find quite a big Saturday market going on.

Eventually we all made it back to the boat for food and refreshments, with Bob taking his normal nightly stroll out on the deck.
