The first day of June saw us moving on from Fleury sur Ouche, ready to tackle yet another eight locks on our way to Plombières
With three nights to spend in Montbard, and feeling pleased with ourselves for sorting out Pip’s passport, we also arranged for Casper to be seen
1st May saw us moored alongside a children’s play area in a quiet little spot, (with the added bonus of a tap and free water).
It had begun to seem that we were stuck in Mailly forever, but finally, finally, finally, we were able to begin this years cruising! And
After spending almost three months in the Alps, Nicki and I returned to Shensi at the start of April, excited to get our water-based home

From Persan we moved on along the Oise until we reached Pontoise and moored just ahead of the Pont de Pontoise on a free pontoon.
